ART IN THE GARDEN

MARK YOUR CALENDARS FOR "ART IN THE GARDEN" ON SATURDAY, JUNE 1, 2024
Every year on the first Saturday in June, the Augusta Art Guild presents "Art in the Garden". This one-day event takes place on the banks of the Ohio River with over 50 local and regional artists exhibiting along Riverside Drive in Augusta, Kentucky.
Located 40 miles east of Cincinnati, Ohio and 70 miles north of Lexington, Kentucky, Augusta is a small and extremely charming community that has been nationally recognized as one of the best river towns in the United States (CNN.com, 20 Jul 2012).
With a waterfront that has changed little over the past few centuries, the river is the heart of Augusta. The Augusta Ferry brings cars and people across the Ohio River everyday and during “Art in the Garden,” traveling on the Jenny Ann presents a picturesque view of Augusta.
The 18th and 19th century houses lining Riverside Drive occupy prize vantage points from which to enjoy the view. Walking along Riverside Drive (on the National Register of Historic Places), ART is truly IN THE GARDEN.
The quality and variety of art vendors, a wide array of local cuisine and live music jams make "Art in the Garden" one of the premier outdoor events in the region.
